Description: This extensive recruitment catalog was intended to attract and inform potential students and their parents. It showcases the University, the programs, the faculty, student life, costs & housing, and the city of Doha, Qatar in general – both in English and Arabic. The secondary purpose of this project was to showcase Graphic Design's potential to have a positive affect on the world. The f inished piece serves as an example of environmental conscientiousness not only by using recycled paper and water-based inks but also through the chosen printing company. This company used hydro power to run their electricity, recycled all of their aluminum plates, and disposed of chemicals in an environmentally responsible manner. In terms of design, department sections were individually designed to slide into the main section. That way the user could customize their own catalog based only on their specif ic interests without having to take the other sections and thus saving resources, only having to be reprinted when they ran out.

Description: This annual arts magazine was published by Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA. The main challenge was that the cover design had to represent each college department equally. The center spread changed to highlight a different department from issue to issue. The overall grid was based on the logo, which also afforded some graphic details to cue the reader regarding captions, and other information along the way.
