Challenge: For this project, the client wanted to represent this sketching-themed business meet-up event to attract the professional demographic. The brand had to be eye-catching, fun, and ref lect the spirit of creativity. The brand also needed to emphasize the sketching aspect as well.

Solution: After exploring all pencil-themed variations, I ended up using type to take advantage of the typographic opportunity of the apex in the capital “A” to represent a pencil tip.
